Sunday, October 2nd 1 pm until 5 pm  Augusta Brewery in Augusta, MO  Great food and beer in a casual, natural atomosphere--right on the Katy Trail.  www.augustabrewing.com
 
Sunday, October 9th 1 pm until 4 pm Picnic at The Trealor Elevator sponsored by The Katy Land Trust --Preserving  farms and forests along the Katy Trail.   5 miles west of Marthasville on The Katy Trail Enjoy the unveiling of our friend, Bryan Haynes’ new grain elevator mural and  with grilled brats and cold drinks.  Proceeds benefit the Marthasville Fire Department.   For more info, e-mail:  pslacy@katylandtrust.org or go to:   www.katylandtrust.org
 
Monday, October 10th - Saturday, October 15th Big Muddy Clean Sweep Missouri River Relief will be bringing a large barge down the Missouri River from Kansas City to St. Louis and will be stopping to clean the banks of the Missouri River in Washington and will provide educational and community activities.  Music, food and lots of fun!  Gloria is the community liason!  For more info:  www.riverrelief.org
 
Saturday, October 15th Noon until 1 pm  Washington River Festival at Rennick Riverfront Park on Front and Lafayette Streets.  A very Fun festival with music, food, plastering a straw bale wall, trash to art demo and auctiona nd more! Paul Ovaitt and Gloria Attoun of Augusta Bottoms Consort.  Michael and Rebecca of Augusta Bottoms Consort will be floating down the Colorado River, so Paul and Gloria will be a duo!  www.riverrelief.org
