Augusta Bottoms Consort is a versatile music ensemble playing acoustic music from several traditions including original songs, folk, bluesy jazz, ethnic as well as classical music. Members of the group, Paul Ovaitt, Michael Bauermeister, Gloria Attoun (Bauermeister) and Rebecca Mayer live near the fertile bottomland fields of the Missouri River in Augusta, Missouri. They play lots of acoustic instruments like guitars, mandolins, banjo, accordion, dobro, acoustic bass, percussion, panpipes, harmonica, recorder and more.  They focus on close harmonies that come from sixteen years of playing together
